Welcome to ThingamaNews Entertainment News where we talk about movies & Series being streamed by platforms such as Netflix, Funimation, Disney+, Hulu, etc… We discuss comic book-inspired movies and trust me, the conversations can get a bit heated. We’ve got some purists in the house who can’t stand how Hollywood has taken what they love and distort it into something they call unrecognizable.

What part of the debate are you a part of? Are you a purist or a Freethinker? There have been two sides to the argument since (I believe) the beginning, lol… What was once the original San Diego Comic Con is no more and that is not a bad thing! As a comic book fan, I happen to love the fact that Marvel Studios is keeping comic book shops alive and well on every corner of every city!

Notice I did not mention DC & Warner Bros; it wasn’t an accident. They do have a lot of work ahead of them and hope they get it right. Kevin Feige at Marvel Studios has been amazing in bringing comic books to life, and that’s what they need at DC. You know who would do a great job at DC/WB? Geoff Johns and I’ll tell you why… He is the DC version of Marvel’s Kevin Feige, but better because he’s written the comics!
